The Committee for New Church Development watches the progress – Vital Signs - of the new church starts and unchartered churches/missions in the Conference. This is to assist us in being of help to you in your ministry as we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are now using the new Vital Signs Reports which are to be submitted online by the 15th of each month for the preceding month. On the 5th of each month a reminder email will be sent to the designated "reporter" for each local church with a link to that church's report.

The monthly report measures:
           • Passionate Worship (Average Worship Attendance)
           • Radical Hospitality (Total Professions of Faith and Reaffirmations of Faith)
           • Intentional Discipling (Total in Intentional Discipling Groups)
           • Salty Service (Total Salty Service worshipers)
           • Extravagant Generosity (Total offering for Budget, Capital and Missions)
           • First time Visitors
           • Weekly Average Children and Nursery
           • Mission Giving ($ spent for Missions)

If the report is not submitted by the 15th of the month, then the subsequent month’s conference support will not be sent electronically until the report is received.
The New Church Development report is required of all new starts until 5 years after they charter.

Churches can collect their data on one of the New Church Development forms in Word or Excel. The data is then submitted online.  Do NOT mail the form to New Church Development - this is only a tool to help with the collection of the data.
